저희 Friends 영어동아리는
고사대 전체 학과(실용외국어학과, 소프트웨어공학과, 미래학부, 한국어다문화학부, 아동영어학과, 경영학과, 법학과, 심리학과, 인재개발학부, 전기전자공학부 등)의
다양한 Back-ground를 갖고 계신 20대~60대의 임원진 분들과 일반 회원 분들(약 500명)이 참여하고 있는 고사대 최대 규모(?)의 연합동아리입니다. ^^
원어민 Free Talking, 영어논문 Study, Trail Running & Marathon, 영어 격언/속담/좋은 글/발췌글/간단 뉴스 등 다양한 Program 들을 진행하고 있습니다.

Hello everyone, I hope your mid-terms went well! It's time to gather again this Saturday and have another free-talking session, and this time the theme is celebration.

I have a few activities we can do around this theme, but I want to start off with a short discussion about weddings.

Then, for this Saturday's lesson, we are all going to become party planners. Imagine we are having a huge party to celebrate something. In teams we are going to assign each other different jobs to do with party planning. Each person will have to think about their strengths and skills and choose an appropriate job.

Next I am going to ask everyone to come up with a new national holiday (like Children's Day, Teacher's Day, International Women's Day) . You can do this before the class, or during the break time of our class. You can create a holiday that celebrates anything you like. Think about where your holiday will be celebrated, the reason for the holiday, why you think the holiday is important and then how people celebrate your holiday (I want you to think about one activity people do in the morning, afternoon and evening). I will explain more about it in the class, and also give you an example if you are still confused.
